Emily.Norm1

I am leaning more toward headpiece B. It has more beads encircling the head in the back. I thought a fancy long evening gown, her shoes barely seen would be a nice "ghost" effect.

Aaand more ideas for Norm as well as quick plummet piece of Emily. Sorry I've been slow on Norm. I think I sill put a sad mustache on him, like the Norm in Mike's boards.
Any input would be awesome.

  1. these are cool. I like ur pencil sketches more than the digital ones. I feel the digital one look rush or doesn't have the same detail as the traditional.

of the sketches of norm, i like the one on the left. he feels more like an actor...clark gable?

for some reason, i can't open the first one. Maybe the file is to small? or is it just me??

  2. This stuff rocks!

I really like the design for the girl. I can't see the first jpg that has " A b c d." Or at least can't click on it, but they are working!

For the guy, i am more fond the line drawings with the value. I think those to drawings are really appealing and have emotion I think also the guy feels a lot more appealing in them. In the last page I like the designs but they don't jump out on me as Norman as much. Things are going in a great direction though! keep it up!

  4. Thanks for the input guys. I find it difficult to age Norm in a realistic way.. Nielsen stylizes his characters a little so for next pass I'll try some Norms with the Nielsen touch.
